Denmark’s capital city Copenhagen has received top guest satisfaction ratings from visiting cruise passengers, according to a new survey carried out by CruiseCopenhagen and analyst firm Stromma.

The survey found that just over 97% of cruise guests were either ‘very satisfied’ or ‘satisfied’ with their visit to Copenhagen. In fact, cruise guests rated the city at least four out of five in every survey category, including local hospitality, attractions, restaurants, transport, accommodation, the airport and more.

“I have no doubt that the strong collaboration between the partners in CruiseCopenhagen is one of the main reasons for the high level of guest satisfaction,” said Claus Bødker, director of CruiseCopenhagen. “The network successfully joins together the entire value chain in the Danish cruise tourism to secure the best experience for every visiting cruise ship, guest and crew member.”

This year, a record 875,000 cruise guests will visit Copenhagen, which is a popular port of call on cruises to the Norwegian Fjords and the Baltic Sea.
