Carnival Cruise Line’s second Vista-class ship is to offer a series of four-day Bermuda cruises from New York, US in spring and summer 2018.

Currently under construction at Fincantieri’s Marghera yard in Italy, Carnival Horizon will offer five voyages between 24 May and 13 September 2018. Each cruise will enable guests to spend a full day in Bermuda.

“Bermuda is a beautiful and sought-after destination and what better way to visit this breath-taking island paradise than on the spectacular Carnival Horizon,” said Christine Duffy, president of Carnival Cruise Line. “These visits to Bermuda are part of Carnival Horizon’s terrific inaugural schedule that also features top destinations throughout Europe and the Caribbean, providing our guests with opportunities to create wonderful and fun memories together.”

Carnival Horizon will debut on 2 April 2018 with a 13-day Mediterranean voyage from Barcelona – the first of four roundtrips from the Spanish port. The vessel will then reposition to the US via a 14-day transatlantic crossing to New York on 9-23 May. Once in New York, the ship will sail 12 eight-day roundtrips that will visit Amber Cove, Dominican Republic; San Juan, Mexico; and Grand Turk, Turks and Caicos. From 22 September, Carnival Horizon will homeport year-round in Miami offering six- and eight-day Caribbean cruises.
