American Cruise Lines’ American Pride will join Queen of the West in the Pacific Northwest on the Columbia and Snake Rivers in 2016.

Built three years ago, the 150-passenger American Pride is currently operating on the Mississippi River and will reposition to provide extra capacity on the Columbia and Snake Rivers. The paddlewheeler will offer seven- to ten-day cruises from 2 April.

American Cruise Lines’ larger newbuild America, which currently under construction at the Chesapeake Shipbuilding in Salisbury, Maryland, will replace American Pride on the Mississippi.
