Royal Caribbean International’s Vision of the Seas began her inaugural homeporting season from the Port of New Orleans (Port NOLA) in Louisiana, US on 15 December, marking the first time the cruise line has visited port in three years.

Vision of the Seas, which can accommodate 2,514 passengers, will be based at Port NOLA’s Julia Street Cruise Terminal until March 2019. The vessel will sail seasonal, seven-night itineraries from Port NOLA to destinations across the Bahamas, Caribbean and Yucatan Peninsula.

“Royal Caribbean is a valued cruise line partner that we are excited to welcome back to the Crescent City,” said Brandy Christian, president and CEO of Port NOLA. “Our commitment to top-notch service, combined with the vibrant sights and sounds of the Big Easy, will add another dimension to the dynamic Royal Caribbean cruise experience.”
